The AYOcradle combine over 15 years experience of building of manual Alt-Az mounts and the necessary of a reasonable cradle style mount for giant binoculars or binoscopes. Even you use high magnifications up to 200x or more, you get the best feeling in movement and vibration damping that provides the experience like the very best big Dobsonian's. Consequent manufacturing of rigid and lightweight parts give you the portability you wish to go to the darkest places you know. Not with just some binocular, with your outstanding instrument. More, the AYOcradle can delivered without or with a drive unit. That give you the possibility to enjoy "goto" convenience to observe finest nebulas as well as long time observing of the moon or planets with high magnifications.

AYOcradle without drive unit and with 5" binoscope

The AYOcradle works optimal with the big BB-160 binobase to build up your binoscope with 4" or 5" refractors. The standard version "320" will fit tubes up to a diameter of about 130 mm, the wide version "400" will fit up to 155mm diameter. So the mount work very good with scopes as the Borg 90FL^® and coming 107FL or Takahashi TSA 120^® and of coarse, similar tubes.

Because the axis design of the mount, you can move the scope as smooth as with any AYO mount. The lightweight concept give you a very portable mount, perfect for traveling to your favorited dark sites, perfect for long relaxing nights under the stars. The optional possibility of a drive unit with "goto" opportunity will let you enjoy the dark sky but is more heavy too.
